(IR) Thermal Imaging / Energy Assessment

Recommended for locating a problem before it becomes a major expense and to assist in preventive maintenance . Floors, walls, ceilings, electrical panels and plumbing is scanned utilizing advanced Flir I.R. imager. There is no charge if active water leaks or suspect electrical overloads are detected during a conventional home inspection. Deficiencies will be scanned and reported.

Homeowners have taken advantage of my energy assessment services in El Paso. Steer clear of companies that offer this service without certifications. I am certified in every aspect of energy assessments. Areas of energy loss such as air intrusion from the exterior, lighting, HVAC efficiency, insulation performance are evaluated and reported. I provide my clients with the most accurate energy assessments and include a customized energy report with cost savings recommendations.

Many local, state, and federal entities offer grants and tax credits for energy-efficient home improvements.

Mold Inspection (NM)/ Moisture Intrusion (IAC2 Certified)

Moisture intrusion into the interior and plumbing leaks create the ideal environment for mold or mildew. Utilizing Thermal Imaging and Moisture meters, I pin point the source of active water leaks. If you ignore any moisture issues in your home, the mold problem will grow. The more mold there is, the more costly the removal or remediation, so address your mold problem as soon as you suspect you have one.

Mold has a musty odor that is indistinguishable from any other smell. Respiratory and other health ailments have been linked to inhaling mold spores.

For more information go to : www.epa.gov/mold

I sample air outdoors and indoors (at the location of the suspect mold) Two representative mold samples are swabbed or taped and submitted, along with the air samples, to Pro-Lab for analysis. You will receive a detailed report of the findings within three business days.
